Mission:

The Szentpéterfa Genealogy Archives is a private website dedicated to genealogical and historical research for those families who can trace their ancestry back to the Croatian-Hungarian village of Szentpéterfa (Petrovo Selo), Vas, Hungary or the nearby Burgenland villages that were a part of Hungary before the Treaty of Trianon, including Eberau (Monyorókerék), Gaas (Kertes), Kulm (Kólom), Winten (Pinkatótfalu), Kroatisch Ehrensdorf (Horvát Hásás), Edlitz (Abdalóc), St. Kathrein (Pósaszentkatalin), Harmisch (Hovárdos). We are also in the process of obtaining records from Moschendorf (Nagy Saroslak), Kertes, Nagykölked, Körmend, Ják and Harasztifalu.

The website and database run on an SQL-PHP based software platform and the genealogical data it contains is primarily based on the complete set of R.C. Church birth, marriage and death records from the R.C. Church of Szentpéterfa (Petrovo Selo) and the R.C. Church of Sankt Kathrein in today's Austria. Our oldest church records date as far back as 1681 and our census records date as far back as 1679. We currently have over 8,000 photos on the website with entries for over 26,500 individual profiles, and over 900 registered users from all parts of the world.

If you have ancestry from Szentpéterfa or one of the villages mentioned above, or if you would like us to check to see if you do, you're welcome to register on our site. Please note however that guest access is limited, and permanent access is only granted to those who can demonstrate ancestry to any one of the villages mentioned above. Each registration request is manually reviewed and processed.

Photos and other information on the site are either owned by us, or have been contributed to the website by others for our specific use. None of the text content or other photographic information on this website is to be reproduced or distributed commercially, nor is it allowed to be distributed to or used by any genealogical group or other organization without our permission. We reserve the right to restrict access to anyone who we believe is in violation of these rules. Thank you for your cooperation.

A Szentpéterfa Genealógia Archívum egy magántulajdonban lévő honlap, mely genealógiai és történelmi kutatások céljából jött létre szentpéterfai gyökerekkel rendelkező családok számára. Egyes ausztriai falvakkal-Eberau (Monyorókerék), Gaas (Kertes), Kulm (Kólom), Winten (Pinkatótfalu), Kroatisch Ehrensdorf (Horvát Hásás), Edlitz (Abdalóc), St. Kathrein (Pósaszentkatalin), Harmisch (Hovárdos), kapcsolatos limitált információk is fellelhetők a weboldalon. Archívumunk tartalmazza a Szentpéterfai Római Katolikus Templom teljes nyilvántartási adatait 1681-ig visszamenőleg.
